Robert Rehfeldt (1931-1993) was a German graphic designer who was associated with the actionist and mail art movements. His mail art network included correspondence with Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostell, Robert Filliou, Horst Tress and Dick Higgins among many others. In the 1980s, Rehfeldt shared a studio with his wife, artist Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt known for her mail art “Typewritings.” The studio became a meeting place for the local and international art community.
