The reproductions in this book are of drawings (oil crayon, lead pencil, ballpoint pen and Tipp-ex on invoices from the Bahia Othon Palace Hotel, Salvador BA) made by Kippenberger of the floor plans of all the premises in which he had worked and lived as far as he could recall since he was 5 years old to age 31.
