Produced by The Vinyl Factory and Telephone Records, London. The four songs on the vinyl LP were recorded by Martin Creed and his band in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago as part of a year-long residency. Work #1370 was released in celebration of Martin Creed Plays Chicago - the US premiere of Creed's first ballet, presented in the MCA Chicago's theatre on 15 November 2012. For this performance, Creed played lead guitar with his London-based band, joined by dancers from the original Sadler Wells production. 

Martin Creed is a musician and artist who resides and works in London. In 2001, he was awarded the Turner Prize for his controversial piece Work No. 227: The Lights Going On and Off, which was just as titled- a piece composed of a light bulb turning on and off at five-second intervals. Blending art and life, Creed uses ordinary objects and common situations to make works whose meaning evolves through the experience of viewing. Grounded in the concept that art is present everywhere and in everything, Creed creates playful and often endearing installations, music, performance and objects that call into question the whole meaning and concept of what is art. Since 1987, Creed has both numbered his pieces and given them mundane descriptive titles.
