The book was designed by Ruscha to look like a Big Little Book.
Condition: Pages toned. Front and back outer hinges cracked (as is common with this title) and have been taped. Lacking business cards.
During the 1960s and 1970s, Ed Ruscha created a series of 16 small, self-published books that became the catalyst for the way artists could approach the book form. Devoid of artistic grandeur, the books centered instead on ideas and concepts as expressed simply through photographs and text.
