Charlotte Moorman (1933-1991)was a central figure in New York City’s avant-garde scene (the "Jeanne d'Arc of new music"). This series of photos, taken by Cal Kowal at the 1984 Chicago Art Expo, document Moorman's performance on her Cello Bomb, an edition created by Moorman and published Carl Solway Gallery, Cincinnati, OH.
