Description

This piece suggests an ordinary workers billfold such as one might find on a street in Moscow. The objects found inside of it form an implied narrative. This edition was produced following Trockel's first trip to the USSR with the staff and artists of the Institute for Contemporary Art, Boston in 1990 and was commissioned by the Institute of Contemporary Art Limited Editions Series.
