Trailblazing lesbian feminist artist Harmony Hammond was a prominent figure in the development of the women's art movement in the 1970s in New York. This catalog includes images of her famous “wrapped sculptures” along with works that employ cloth, thread, and hair among other “women's materials.” It also includes images of her then-recent work which endeavored to combine figurative representation with abstraction.
