100 Walks is a compilation of walks by Hamish Fulton published in conjunction with a show held in November 1991, Haags Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, Netherlands.
Hamish Fulton is an English conceptual artist. Since 1972 his works have centered on the experience of walking. Leaving no trace and collecting no materials, Fuilton captures his walks in a variety of media, including photography, illustrations, and wall texts. Fulton has described walking as an experience not an art medium. He has also referred to his walks as 'invisible objects.' Although he modestly calls his artworks “walks,” Fulton’s massive global project has led him to traverse thousands of miles on five continents.
