Dan Graham (1942-2022) was interested in illustrating the symbiosis that exists between any architectural environment and those that interact with it. Homes for America was Graham's first project associated with this concept. Consisting of repetitive images of cheap houses built in a grid-like layout, this series becomes a commentary on minimalism and the concept of repetition, regularity and mass production in our daily lives.
