A combination of photographic illustration and text, this children's story was written by Nettles' then thirteen year old sister Connie. In this tale, Aquarius, a naiad (water nymph), defends small animals and challenges the lords of water and land, eventually creating peace across the highlands. Nettles cast images of herself, often nude, as the subject of numerous early photographs and artist books. In this book, she casts herself as Aquarius.
